An asymmetric yellow wide-brim hat, Timber is shaped from fine yellow sinamay into a structured form that tilts gracefully to the left. Two pink buntal stripes cross over the brim and each other, and a dark blue bead cluster sits at their intersection as a focal point of contrast. Hand-made in our London atelier by Merve Bayindir Millinery, a member of the British Fashion Council, Timber is finished to a couture standard, a bold, colour-led statement hat for the summer season.

Event: Royal Ascot, the Epsom Derby, the Melbourne Cup, garden parties, and high-fashion summer events.

Styling: Wear the brim tilted to the left to follow its asymmetric line, angled to frame one side of the face. Its yellow, pink and blue palette makes a confident statement against neutral, white or tonal summer dressing. Sweep hair into a low knot or wear it loose beneath the brim, and keep jewellery simple, letting the colour and beadwork lead.
