How it works

At Merve Bayindir millinery we offer wide range of couture millinery for any occasion. We have over 10 years of experience working with private clients to entire corteges. It is the best feeling to see a client walking out with 100% satisfaction.


We are here to design or customise a headdresses to compliment your look, whether you want to make a grand statement or simply want to add the finishing touch. For us there are three important steps to making the perfect headdress for you; the occasion, the outfit and your personality. The aim is not only to compliment the look, but also compliment the occasion and you. There is no limit to what we can do.

The most important thing is for you to have a positive experience with us and wear your piece filled with happiness. We are always happy to accommodate you in our Atelier, or visit you at your own house (with up to 10 sample hats to try), or due to distances (or current circumstances) via zoom.



Our initial consultation takes about an hour. We have a chat about what is your vision and what is in your heart, we try hats, talk about fabrics and the possibilities. If you have a look ready we strongly suggest having it with you or if you have a swatch from your dress we really appreciate that. Once the consultation is finish we send you and e-mail with all the details of your hat, the pricing and timeline. If you approve, we are set to go.


Everything related to your hat will be made in-house, with the best quality of fabrics and materials. We custom dye everything when needed. Each detail from flowers the embroidery is hand made in-house just for you. We are happy to send you updates of your hats progress and we have WhatsApp available for you, so you can have access at any time you need an update.

We know how stressful it is to get ready for an event wether it is your best friends or your daughter’s wedding or something you simply care, so we are here to make everything easier for you.

Depending on the hat we usually ask for a second and sometimes a third consultation in order to achieve perfection . We strongly suggest that you make an appointment 4 to 6 weeks ahead of your event. That being said we are always happy to help you with your emergency last minute orders, so do not hesitate to get in touch with us. Our prices for custom hats range from £850 to £4000

Last but not least please book your appointments for RoyalAscot as early as possible, as they tend to fill up quickly.
