ABOUT OUR PRODUCT

Every Merve Bayindir creation is individually handcrafted in our London atelier by our skilled team of artisans.

As each piece is made by hand, slight variations in shape, stitching, embellishment placement, natural materials and finishing may occur. These variations are an inherent characteristic of handcrafted luxury products and should not be regarded as faults or manufacturing defects.

Many of our collections incorporate natural materials including, but not limited to, straw, sinamay, feathers, preserved botanicals and other delicate couture components. As these are natural materials, variations in colour, texture, weave and appearance are to be expected and form part of each piece’s individual character.

Product photography and descriptions are intended to represent each item as accurately as possible. However, colours may vary slightly depending on individual monitor settings, mobile devices, lighting conditions and screen calibration.

Lifestyle images are provided for illustrative purposes only and may include styling accessories that are not included with your purchase.

Dimensions provided on product pages are approximate and may vary slightly due to the handmade nature of each piece.

All products are subject to availability.

While we endeavour to keep our website up to date, certain materials or components may occasionally become unavailable.

Should this occur after an order has been placed, we will contact you to discuss the most appropriate solution, which may include:

• a revised production timeframe;

• a suitable alternative material of equal or superior quality, subject to your approval;

• or a full refund where appropriate.

We reserve the right to discontinue any product or collection without prior notice.

PRICING

All prices displayed on our website are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP) unless another currency has been selected.

Prices displayed to customers within the United Kingdom include applicable UK VAT.

For customers outside the United Kingdom, prices and VAT treatment may vary depending on your location and local tax regulations.

Although every effort is made to ensure pricing accuracy, occasional errors may occur. Where an obvious pricing error has been identified, we reserve the right to cancel the affected order before dispatch and issue a full refund.

We reserve the right to correct any typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions at any time without prior notice.

CUSTOMS, DUTIES & IMPORT TAXES

Orders delivered outside the United Kingdom may be subject to customs duties, import taxes and other charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are not included in the purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer.

Customs duties, taxes and related charges are determined by the relevant authorities in the destination country and are outside the control of Bayindir Ltd. We are therefore unable to predict or guarantee the amount that may be charged.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any customs duties, import taxes or other charges required for delivery are paid when requested by the carrier or relevant authority.

Refusing delivery or declining to pay customs duties, import taxes or other destination-country charges does not constitute cancellation of an order.

Where a shipment is refused, cannot be delivered due to unpaid import charges, or is otherwise returned to us by the carrier, the customer will be responsible for any costs incurred as a result of the refusal or return. These may include return transportation, carrier charges, customs-related charges, duties or taxes that remain payable, storage, handling or administrative fees, where applicable.

Any refund due will be processed only after the shipment has been safely returned to us and the items have been received and inspected in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Where costs have been incurred by Bayindir Ltd as a direct result of the refusal or return, the applicable amount may be deducted from any refund due. This may include charges initially invoiced to Bayindir Ltd by the carrier as shipper where those charges arise from the recipient's refusal, non-payment of import charges or return of the shipment.

The amount and nature of such charges vary according to the destination country, customs authorities and carrier procedures. Where possible, we will provide the customer with details of the applicable charges once these have been confirmed by the carrier.

PAYMENT

Payment must be received in full before production or dispatch begins.

We accept the payment methods displayed during checkout.

All payment transactions are securely processed by our authorised payment providers using industry-standard encryption technologies.

Bayindir Ltd does not store or have access to your full payment card details.

If your payment cannot be authorised or verified, your order may be delayed or cancelled.

All products remain the property of Bayindir Ltd until full payment has been received.

ORDER ACCEPTANCE

Once your order has been placed, you will receive an automated order confirmation acknowledging receipt of your purchase.

This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order.

A contract between you and Bayindir Ltd is formed only when your order has been accepted and dispatched.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including (but not limited to) circumstances involving pricing errors, product unavailability, payment issues or suspected fraudulent activity.

We may also cancel an order where we are unable to fulfil it due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, in which case any payment received will be refunded in full.

Selected pieces within our collections are made to order and handcrafted specifically for each customer. Where applicable, the estimated production time is stated on the relevant product page.

Production times are provided as estimates and, while every reasonable effort will be made to meet them, they are not guaranteed. Occasional delays may arise due to the handcrafted nature of our products, the availability of specialist materials or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Made-to-order, bespoke and personalised items are subject to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
