A natural straw boater hat, restraint with a touch of poetry. The classic flat crown and wide brim feel timeless, while a sheer black ribbon wraps the crown with subtle texture. The long translucent ties move lightly with every step, softening the structure and adding an almost weightless finish. Hand-made in our London atelier by Merve Bayindir Millinery, a member of the British Fashion Council, Vara is finished to a couture standard, composed but never rigid, restraint with a quiet touch of poetry.

Event: Late summer afternoons, outdoor concerts, slow city weekends, holidays, and relaxed daytime occasions.

Styling: Let shape and movement lead. Off-shoulder silhouettes, fluid fabrics or monochrome looks suit it best, with the sheer ties left to fall naturally against bare skin for a quiet contrast. Keep jewellery minimal so nothing distracts from the line and the lightness of the ties.
