An asymmetric, curved red fascinator hat, Echo is shaped from rich red sinamay and dressed to one side with a bouquet of black and red crepe roses, black-shaded red peonies and black buntal swirls. The flowers gather on one side for an off-centre, sculptural balance, and the deep red and black palette gives the piece its drama. Hand-made in our London atelier by Merve Bayindir Millinery, a member of the British Fashion Council, Echo is finished to a couture standard, a bold statement hat made for the races and beyond.

Event: Royal Ascot and the Royal Enclosure, the Derby, summer race days, garden parties, and outdoor weddings.

Styling: Wear the hat angled to the right side of the head so its curved line and side-set flowers read as the focal point. Its red and black palette stands out against black, white or neutral tailoring, and pairs naturally with a red dress for a tonal look. Sweep hair back or wear it in soft waves so the floral detail leads, and keep jewellery bold but minimal.
