A coral wide-brim hat with a wide, asymmetric saucer brim, Carry is shaped from A-grade sinamay and set on a coral buntal stripe for a dramatic lift. Three large coral silk flowers in soft, tonal shades sit to one side, each centred with pink beads and finished with a peach ribbon looped around their base. Hand-made in our London atelier by Merve Bayindir Millinery, a member of the British Fashion Council, Carry is finished to a couture standard, a light, airy statement piece on a secure headband.

Event: The Kentucky Derby, mother-of-the-bride occasions, summer weddings, garden parties, and spring and summer race days.

Styling: Wear the brim angled to follow its asymmetric line, secured on its headband so the raised side frames the face. Its coral tone lifts cream, white, navy and soft neutral summer dressing, and tones beautifully with peach or blush. Sweep hair into a low chignon or soft waves beneath the brim, and keep jewellery delicate and warm-toned.
