A deep purple sinamay saucer hat, Lexington is built on a disc-shaped base in rich purple, dressed with several bright yellow orchids for a strong contrast against the deep tone. A single green swirl leaf curves over the saucer, adding height and movement to the design. Hand-made in our London atelier by Merve Bayindir Millinery, a member of the British Fashion Council, Lexington is finished to a couture standard, a bold, colourful piece worn tilted to the right of the head.

Event: Royal Ascot, the Derby, the Kentucky Derby, Cheltenham, garden parties, and wedding-guest occasions.

Styling: Wear the saucer tilted to the right of the head so the orchids and swirl leaf frame the face. Its purple base with yellow and green accents pairs beautifully with cream, white, navy or tonal purple dressing. Sweep hair into a low chignon or soft waves to keep the tilt clean, and let the bold colours carry the look with simple jewellery.
