A light blue bucket hat on a vintage-style parasisal base, covered with handmade silk organza butterflies in pastel blue, pink and purple. The butterflies build a textured, three-dimensional surface across the hat, finished with a silk ribbon detail at the side. Hand-made in our London atelier by Merve Bayindir Millinery, a member of the British Fashion Council, Butterfly is finished to a couture standard, each butterfly hand-coloured so slight, natural variations in tone run through the pastel cluster.

Event: Garden parties, Royal Ascot, the Dubai World Cup, high-fashion events and summer occasions.

Styling: Wear it pulled down for full bucket-hat coverage so the butterflies sit all around the crown and brim. Pair with clean summer tailoring or a simple dress in blue, white or pastel tones, letting the butterflies lead. Keep hair loose or low, and finish with small studs so nothing competes with the surface.
