A black button-shaped fascinator worked on a smooth sateen base that sits neatly on the crown, secured on a discreet headband. A spray of black crepe leaves rises from the back for texture and depth, set with three ornaments of coiled metallic wire and large faux pearls that lift the matte black with a quiet shine. Hand-made in our London atelier by Merve Bayindir Millinery, a member of the British Fashion Council, Nicollete is finished to a couture standard, its leaves and pearl detailing hand-assembled to keep the piece formal, restrained and suited to the most sombre occasions.

Event: Funerals, memorials, formal occasions, winter events and the Breeder's Cup.

Styling: Set it towards the back or just off-centre on the crown so the crepe leaves trail along the head. Pair with tailored black for formal daywear and memorial occasions, keeping the silhouette clean and covered. Wear hair swept back or in a low knot so the pearl detailing stays visible, and keep jewellery to small studs or none at all.
